What Is Monel Alloy Tubes?
Monel Alloy tube is a high-performance tubing, a corrosion-resistant nickel-copper alloy typically composed of around 63% nickel, 30% copper, and small amounts of iron and manganese. Known for its excellent toughness, strength, and resistance to oxidation, Monel tubing is available in both seamless and welded forms. It retains its mechanical properties across a wide temperature range, making it suitable for extreme conditions. They have superior corrosion resistance, especially in marine and chemical environments, along with high strength and durability. Common grades like Monel 400 and Monel K500 offer varying levels of hardness and performance. Monel tubes adhere to global standards such as ASTM B163 further ensuring their reliability.
